Athidi received extraordinary, overwhelming and roaring response as over 23,000 people watched the movie in first 4 days of the release, despite having no premier shows in most of the cities. This proves the stardom attained by charming Mahesh Babu in overseas market with his urban looks, extraordinary and stylish performances.

Athidi SuperHit: BO Report
Athidi a much awaited movie of the year for tollywood is finally out. Movie opened with a positive talk all over. Due to the tremendous craze this movie will get great openings. Since the movie lived up to be a superhit, Athidi will be a profitable venture.

Plus and Minus of Film: Mahesh is obviously a big asset for the film. He got appreciations from crowd for his action in love, sentiment, comedy and style. Mani sharma's music and picturization of songs are highlights. Fights, style and the feel of the movie are good. On the flip side, Surender reddy's narration went little confusing in 2nd half. Surender directs a movie in hollywood style and it is bit hard for common masses to understand it. Even then the movie ended very well to comeout as a successor. Heavy Voilence is the only drawback as far as the reports but it is not going to effect movie's BO success.

Overall, Athidi is another stylish movie in hollywood style from mahesh and surender reddy. The movie has a superhit talk 100 days report so far. Pokiri fate changed after 3 weeks only, we have to wait and see if the audience gonna turn Athidi from superhit into Industry Hit. A must watch movie for all audience. A unmissable for SuperStar fans.

Athidi got U/A Certificate and coming on 18th
Athidi passed censor with a clean U/A. There are around two to three minor cuts in the movie. The censor report has been tremndous. Superhit talk is spreading allover. The movie is all set to release on October 18th with 325+ prints and in 712 theatres Worldwide. Premiere shows will be screened on october 17th night in USA and a midnight show in Gudiwada and other areas. Mahesh will look different with new style throughout the movie. You can see a new style in his acting also. Athidi is all set to rock everyone and everywhere. Enjoy Superstar fans!

BIG FM Partners With Athidi
BIG 92.7 FM, Hyderabad announces its exclusive Radio partnership with the upcoming and much looked forward to Tollywood movie ‘Athidhi’. Directed by Surender Reddy. September 27th 2007 will see the exclusive premiere of the music album on BIG 92.7 FM’s Breakfast show – BIG Sandadi with RJ Sekhar.

BIG 92.7 FM has exhaustive on-air and on-ground plans for the BIG Movie Athidhi in order to create unprecedented buzz. BIG 92.7 FM started the promotion of the movie by exclusively premiering teasers of the music starting September 23. On September 27th all songs of the movie will premier for the first time on radio exclusively on BIG 92.7 FM.

The Station will feature interviews with the cast and crew of the movie and also run contests for its listeners across Hyderabad, Tirupathi and Vishakapatnam to get a chance to meet “Prince” Mahesh Babu.

Mahesh may not attend the filmfare awards
Mahesh may not attend the Filmfare Awards Function to be held today evening @ HICC. Mahesh's Grand Mother Durgamma has been  hospitalised and her condition seems to be very serious. The entire Family members are with her and Mahesh looked very upset. Mahesh has spent most of his childhood with her. Namratha may attend filmfare to receive the award.

Our superstar mahesh babu won the best actor award for the film pokiri in Film fare awards 2007. This is the second film fare for mahesh. first one is for Okkadu. Let's hope he will get a nandi award also for pokiri.

Crazy fan freaks at padmalaya studios.
Mahesh has an extreme image in female audience. One die hard fan of mahesh called tahasina went to padmalaya studios and told to the security and media that she loves mahesh and wants to marry him. After her speech it seems she was mentally struck by mahesh's beauty and lost her mind. It is so sad that she came all the way from chitoor to hyderabad to make her wish come true, which is impossible. She even said she doesn't want to bother that mahesh is already married. This poor girl should know every one loves celebrites but willing to marry them is an odd thought for any fan. If she thinks proposing to her beloved celeb through media will help her, that would be a bad idea and gives negative results to her. Millons love Aishwarya Rai and wants to marry her but every one knows its impossible and stupid to say so. Let's hope this won't go too far and she will receive some psychological advice to solve her problem.

Athidi overseas rights bagged by Prawasi Movies.
Superstar Maheshbabu's upcoming venture 'Athidi' Overseas rights were bought by Prawasi movies. Mahesh's fame increased alot in overseas. After takkari donga, mahesh's movies had slow business in USA. It was a surprise back then, mahesh's movies are not reaching overseas audience well enough. Athadu said good bye for that stereotype by becoming a biggest hit in USA and other countries, followed by Industry Hit Pokiri and All Time Overseas Record Opener Sainikudu. There is no doubt to say Mahesh is the #1 telugu film star at boxoffice in USA. According to the grapewine, Prawasi movies bagged the Overseas rights for a whooping price of rupees 1 crore and 65 lakhs. Grossing that amount is not a tough task for mahesh's films now. Pokiri 500 days with 4 shows Confirmed in Kurnool!
Yes, Pokiri will be first movie ever in tollywood history to run for 500 days with 4 shows and with a minimum of 1 shift. Sky is the limit for our all time industry No.1 Hit movie. After running for 50 days in 299 theatres it is hard for a movie to run for 100 days in 200 centres and even hard to run 175 days in 64 centres and 200 days in 16 centres. Pokiri completed 365 days with 4 shows and created new records and even intresting is it's confirmed that pokiri will finish 500 days run mark in Kurnool bhageeratha theatre. The records set at 365 days will be extended. Even after DVD/VCD release and 365 days of pokiri, the movie is managing to collect the theatres rent per show in bhageeratha theatre. Pokiri 365 days Nede!!!
April 28th is the most memorable day for both mahesh fans and tollywood. After a long time a telugu movie managed to run for 365 days. Pokiri completed 365 days in kurnool with one shift and daily 4 shows. Pokiri is the first film in tollywood to complete 365 days with daily 4 shows.(Premabhishekam is the only film in telugu which had a direct 365 days centre with 3 shows and one shift centres).  After premabhishekam, pokiri is the only 365 days film which has a minimum of one shift. Kurnool theatres Srirama(176)+ Bhageeratha(still running) took the previlage of screening this all time ever green industry hit for 365 days. According to the kurnool fans pokiri will be screened in bhageeratha theatre untill 400th day. This is the highest run ever made by a film in rayalaseema region. Mahesh proved as Rayalaseema King by smashing all centres records with pokiri and pokiri become the first 365 days film in Rayalaseema area with one shift(No direct 365 days films yet in seema). Bhageeratha theatre created another sensational record with pokiri by having highest run for a shift theatre, Pokiri is expected to complete 200 days in Bhageeratha theatre. Pokiri is the only movie which had back to back silver jubliee theatres in a single city. Pokiri hawa is not over yet it can create more records by 400th day.

Athidi unit is back from dubai after the song shoot and the regular shooting will continue from 21st of april in hyderabad. The movie will be released in the month of september.

Athidi unit went to Austria to shoot a couple of songs. Due to the bad weather conditions the unit moved to dubai to shoot another song .The song will be on mahesh babu and amritha rao with locations of desert and Burj Al Arab - the world’s first seven star hotel. The unit will be back in Hyderabad by 14th of this month and the next schedule will resume on 16 April.

Harerama Harekrishna
The muhurath of HRHK had been performed in a low profile manner on March 14th at 7.00am. HRHK is being produced by M.S.Raju and directed by trivikram sreenivas. Both the director and producer gave blockbusters previously to maheshbabu. The shooting will start only after the completion of ATHIDHI.

Sainikudu 100 DAYS
Maheshbabu’s sainikudu, the most technical film till date in the history of Tollywood has completed 100days run in two centres sudershan35mm & In bheemavaram. Though the film didn’t reach to its expectations., it had a Tremendous openings. It was the first telugu film to be premiered in North America. The fans went berserk in sudershan 35mm on 100th day.
